Alzheimer's ServicesThe Alzheimer's
Disease and Related Disorders Program offers caregivers assistance in keeping
Alzheimer's/Dementia victims in the community for as long as possible. Some of the
services offered are a support group, counseling, information & referral, and a
respite day program through Parsons Day Center. MAC PARSONS DAY CENTER {formerly known as Riverside Place} is a social day center for individuals with memory impairment problems such as Alzheimer's Disease. There are two major benefits to this program: It provides respite for the caregiver and socialization for the impaired individual. Various activities such as current events, exercise, art therapy, and music therapy comprise a typical day for members. NOTE CARDS: The participants of the Parsons Day Center have prepared a set of five designs featured on a set of note cards. The sets are available for $5 each, including sales tax. Card sales support the art activities of the center. If you are interested in supporting our program by purchasing a set of these cards, please call 410-742-0505 for more information.
