HOUSING
MAC offers special programs to address the older
person's housing concerns.
The Congregate Housing Program
is designed for those who are unable to live alone but do not
require nursing home care.
Apartment based congregate housing
provides selected residents of elderly apartment complexes with three
meals a day, assistance with personal care, housekeeping, and laundry services.
The Pine Bluff Village Apartment complex on Riverside Drive in Salisbury is the
only facility of this type in the four county area. For more information

Community Based housing,
Group Senior Assisted Housing (GSAH), offers
these same services to older persons in private residences in
Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester Counties that have
been certified by the State of Maryland.
Our sheltered housing programs give older persons a new option for independent
living. It enables them to remain in the community in a safe and secure
environment with daily contact with the outside world.
