Every day, MAC empowers older adults across the Lower Shore to live healthier, more independent lives.

MAC makes a difference through vital services like:

  • The Richard A. Henson Wellness Center, where seniors regain strength and confidence using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Meals on Wheels providing home-delivered meals and pet food
  • Connections senior centers with congregate meals and activities
  • Life Bridges dementia day program featuring person-centered activities in a stimulating and positive environment
  • Classes and workshops with free evidence-based programs to improve health outcomes
  • Maryland Access Point (MAP), navigating clients through long-term care options, applying for services, or understanding complex systems, so they don’t have to do it alone
  • Caregiver support, legal services, tax assistance, assistive technology, senior employment programs, and more!

These programs don’t just improve health, they reduce isolation, restore hope, and build community.

To donate online, use the form on this page. We utilize a service called “Zeffy” that allows us to keep 100% of your donation without paying any fees. The form will ask for an optional tip, but you can easily choose “other” and not provide a tip to the software company.

Other Ways to Give

Have you considered including MAC in your estate planning? In addition to knowing that your gift will be helping a worthwhile cause, there may be tax advantages to your estate.  For additional tax information talk to your attorney, accountant or certified financial planner.

Ways to include MAC in your estate planning include:

  • Designate MAC, Inc. as your beneficiary or remainder beneficiary in your will, trust or life insurance policy. You can specify either a dollar amount or percentage.
  • Contribute to the MAC Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore or establish a fund with MAC as beneficiary
  • Designate charitable gifts from your IRA or 401K
  • Designate Capital Gains Property (stocks, bonds or real estate)
  • Designate MAC as a beneficiary in your published obituary

Looking for a beautiful way to memorialize someone and also help support MAC? Our brick garden is a great way to honor a loved one whose life has been touched by MAC’s services and resources.

One 4in x 8in brick costs $125.00 and can have up to 3 lines of 21 characters of text each. For more information on ordering a brick, click here to download the brick order form.

MAC participates in a program called CARS (Charitable Adult Rides and Services) that allows us to accept donations of vehicles.

All vehicles are considered! They accept all types of donated vehicles (running or not), including cars, trucks, trailers, boats, RVs, motorcycles, campers, off-road vehicles, planes, heavy equipment, farm machinery, and most other motorized vehicles.
