The community is invited to join MAC, Your Area Agency on Aging, for its annual Cancer Survivor Celebration on Thursday, June 4, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at MAC, located at 909 Progress Circle in Salisbury.

Held in recognition of National Cancer Survivors Day, this annual event celebrates the strength, courage, and resilience of individuals impacted by cancer while offering an opportunity for survivors, caregivers, families, and community members to come together in support and hope.

The evening will begin in the Bradford Room with a special cancer survivor guest speaker sharing her personal story and journey. Guests will then gather outdoors in MAC’s Healing Garden for a live butterfly release, symbolizing healing, remembrance, and renewal.

Light refreshments will be served during the event.

The Cancer Survivor Celebration is free and open to cancer survivors, patients, caregivers, family members, and supporters throughout the community
