This training is 6 weeks long and occurs Mondays through Thursdays. The final day of this training is Thursday, February 22.

 

Learn the basic skills to become a professional care provider or enhance your existing care provider skills at MAC’s free Care Provider Training Program.

Training includes:

  • Alzheimer’s and dementia education
  • CPR certification
  • Communication strategies
  • Medication awareness
  • Fall prevention
  • Work experience placement for hands-on experience with clients
  • Job coaching and job placement assistance
