Healthy Cooking on a Budget: Snacks & Drinks

“Healthy Cooking on a Budget,” a new series of classes to be held at MAC, will include cooking demonstrations and tastings of all dishes prepared.
Participants will learn to eat well without sacrificing flavor, get tips on shopping and ways to cut calories and carbs, and ideas for seasonings and food preparation methods.
Classes will be held the first three Mondays in March, April and May, all from 11 a.m. to noon.
The first class, on March 2, will feature healthy ideas for snacks and drinks.
The cost is $5 per class, payable in advance or at the door. Space is limited; call 410-742-0505 to reserve a seat.
The Healthy Cooking series is being presented by Fixer Upper Fitness in Salisbury and MAC. The instructor will be Registered Dietitian Gwyneth Bradshaw from Fixer Upper Fitness.
