MAC was proud to take part in United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore’s Over the Edge event, a unique community fundraiser that brings local supporters together for a cause – and sends a few brave participants rappelling down the side of a 14-story building!
This year, MAC was represented by Bill Ritz, IT Systems Administrator, and Gaylena Bivens, Board of Directors member, who both went “Over the Edge” in support of MAC’s mission and the seniors we serve.
Thanks to their courage, enthusiasm, and the generosity of our community, Bill and Gaylena raised more than $3,200 to support MAC’s continued work across the Lower Shore.
Events like Over the Edge help bring awareness to the important services and programs that support older adults, caregivers, and families throughout our community. The funds raised will help MAC continue making a long-term impact for seniors by supporting the resources, connections, and care that help individuals age with dignity, independence, and support. MAC extends a heartfelt thank you to United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore for hosting another successful Over the Edge event, and to everyone who donated, cheered, shared, and showed up in support of Bill, Gaylena, and MAC.
We are grateful for a community that continues to stand behind our mission – and in this case, even goes over the edge for it!
