Connections Sites
The Salisbury-Wicomico Connections Sites are for those who are age 60 and older, and live in Wicomico County.
Connections Sites participants must also be able to:
- Move from point A to B by themselves using a wheelchair, walker, or cane
- Go to the restroom by themselves
- Eat by themselves
The program is NOT for seniors who would wander out of the building, and for those who need prompting to take medications while they are in the center
The purpose of Connections is to provide socialization and nutrition.
Example of activities:
- Light breakfast and lunch
- Guest speakers on a variety of topics, such as travel, and various health issues
- Chair exercises
- Bingo
- Crafts and games
- Performances by center participants, such as reciting poems and telling jokes
- Musical and dance performances
Participation in the Connections Sites program is free.
Suggested donations to help offset costs are:
Light Breakfast | $1.00 |
Lunch | $2.50 |
Transportation | $2.00 per day |
Transportation is available through Shore Transit
Limited transportation is available through MAC Inc.


Would you like to try it out for a day?
Contact a Connections staff member to arrange a day (for up to 4 hours, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday) to visit and check us out. Enrollment consists of completing questions on an form, and signing authorization to be enrolled in the program (providing all criteria of the program is met).
Connections Sites are located throughout the Lower Shore. Sites in Wicomico County include locations in Salisbury and Willards.
