Connections
Senior Center
MAC’s Connections senior activity centers in Wicomico provide a full slate of activities that focus on health and well-being, and provide opportunities for socialization, education, and recreation.
Activities include:
- Nutritious light breakfast and lunch
- Guest speakers
- Exercise
- Bingo and other games
- Arts and crafts
- Musical and dance performances
- Virtual reality programs
- And more!
Participation in the Connections program is free.
There is a suggested donation of $1 per day for the light breakfast and $2 per day for lunch, to help offset costs.
Transportation is available through Shore Transit at a rate of $2 per day, payable to MAC. Transportation is limited.
The Connections program is NOT suitable for seniors who may wander out of the building, and for those who need prompting to take medications while at the center.
Participants must be vaccinated against COVID.
In addition, Connections participants must be able to:
- Perform activities of daily living with little or no assistance
- Ambulate independently or with a cane, walker or wheelchair

Enrollment consists of completing a brief form and signature authorization (providing all criteria of the program is met; see eligibility information).

- Age 60 or older.
- Live in Wicomico County.
