All of the money raised through the St. Paddy's Day event will support MAC Incorporated's programs and services specifically for those persons with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers including:

Parson's Services for the Memory Impaired

Funding is used for in-home respite care and day respite services in a senior center setting giving family caregivers much-needed breaks. Monthly caregiver support groups are conducted and staff provide counseling, information regarding services, and help with individual caregiver needs.

Family Caregiver Support & In-Home Respite Care

Licensed social workers and nurses offer Lower Shore family caregivers consultation on their unique situations. Assessment, information and referrals, counseling and education are provided to those caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's and other memory impairments.

Caregiver Support Group

Small group gatherings for family members and caregivers which provide opportunities for socialization, education, and support. Respite care is available during the support group meetings.
