MAC Celebrates National Nonprofit Day

On August 17, MAC joins organizations across the country in celebrating National Nonprofit Day, a day dedicated to recognizing the important role nonprofits play in strengthening communities and improving lives.

As the Area Agency on Aging for the Lower Shore, MAC works every day to support older adults, their families and caregivers. Through nutrition services, wellness programs, caregiver resources, advocacy, social activities and many other programs, MAC helps members of our community remain healthy, independent and connected.

This work would not be possible without the commitment of MAC’s staff, volunteers, donors and community partners. Their compassion and dedication allow us to respond to the changing needs of older adults while continuing to provide programs and services that promote dignity, independence and quality of life.

National Nonprofit Day is an opportunity to celebrate the collective impact of those who give their time, talents and resources in service to others. MAC is proud to be part of the Lower Shore’s nonprofit community and grateful to everyone who supports our mission.
