Meals on Wheels America and Subaru: Keeping the wheels turning for seniors in need

Meals on Wheels America and Subaru: Together, we can keep the wheels turning for seniors in need

MAC is pleased to participate in The 2025 Subaru Share the Love@ Event!

As part of a national partnership with Meals on Wheels America, Subaru of America, Inc. and its retailers will donate a minimum of $300 to charity, like Meals on Wheels, for every new vehicle leased or sold through January 2, 2026.
A special thank you to Buchanan Subaru in Pocomoke City for once again choosing MAC as its hometown charity recipient, helping MAC Inc., Your Area Agency on Aging, deliver more meals to local seniors who need them.

Since the Subaru Share the Love Event began in 2008, Subaru and its participating retailers have provided nearly 5 million meals and helped provide friendly visits to seniors being served by local Meals on Wheels programs across the country.

Why does Subaru support Meals on Wheels?

Too many seniors are struggling to stay independent and healthy. According to “The Escalating Issue of Senior Hunger,” an estimated 1 in 2 seniors living alone lack the income to pay for basic needs, and about 13 million seniors are threatened by or experience hunger.

This holiday season, Subaru and Meals on Wheels America are coming together through the Subaru Share the Love® Event to help ensure that older adults across the country receive the meals, care and connection they need to live independently and with dignity. When you choose Meals on Wheels America as your Share the Love charity of choice, your selection helps support the delivery of meals and friendly visits to older adults nationwide.

On the Lower Shore, MAC, Your Area Agency on Aging, helps provide those nutritious meals, companionship and safety checks to these local seniors. This vital support helps our seniors age in their homes.

MAC is incredibly grateful to Subaru and its retailers for supporting our organization and the seniors we serve.
