Wicomico County Commission on Aging

The Wicomico County Commission on Aging assists the aging in Wicomico County with health, social, economic, recreational and environmental problems, and provides assistance in solving local problems concerning the elderly.

The Commission on Aging was formed as a result of collaboration with MAC Inc. and the Wicomico County Council.

New members are nominated by current members and approved by the Wicomico County Council. All members must live in Wicomico County and either be classified as a senior or work with seniors in the community.

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month from 4 to 5 p.m. at MAC Inc., September through June.

Worcester County Commission on Aging

The Worcester County Commission on Aging, Inc. (WorCOA) is a nonprofit agency established in 1978 to serve the senior citizens of Worcester County on behalf of the Worcester County government.

The Somerset County Commission on Aging, a private, nonprofit agency located in Somerset County, operates a variety of programs and services for the senior citizens of Somerset County, including:

  • Maryland Access Point (MAP)/Information & Assistance

Delmarva Community Services Inc., a multi-service organization dedicated to helping local residents maintain their dignity and independence, operates the Dorchester County MAC Program.

DCS serves individuals with disabilities, seniors, persons living with poverty, transportation disadvantaged and medically frail.

Services include:
