Learn the basic skills to become a professional care provider or enhance your existing care provider skills at MAC’s free Care Provider Training Program.

Training includes:

• Alzheimer’s and dementia education
• CPR and First Aid
• Communication strategies
• Medication awareness
• Fall prevention
• Work experience placement for hands-on experience with clients
• Job coaching and job placement assistance

Training is available to Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset County residents. Program eligibility contingent upon results of criminal background screening.

Each training session is 6 weeks long with classes being held Monday through Thursday from 9:00am – 1:00pm.

Eligibility:

• Resident of Wicomico, Worcester or Somerset counties
• Age 18 or older
• Eligibility contingent upon results of criminal background screening
