Subaru Share the Love@ Event helps local seniors!

MAC is pleased to participate in The 2024 Subaru Share the Love@ Event!
As part of a national partnership with Meals on Wheels America, Subaru of America, Inc. and its retailers will donate a minimum of $300 to charity, like Meals on Wheels, for every new vehicle leased or sold through January 2, 2025.

   Since the Subaru Share the Love Event began in 2008, Subaru and its participating retailers have donated more than 4.6 million meals and helped provide friendly visits to seniors being served by local Meals on Wheels programs across the country.

Why does Subaru support Meals on Wheels? Too many seniors are struggling to stay independent and healthy. According to “The Escalating Issue of Senior Hunger,” an estimated 1 in 2 seniors living alone lack the income to pay for basic needs, and about 13 million seniors are threatened by or experience hunger. On the Lower Shore, MAC, Your Area Agency on Aging, helps provide nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks to these local seniors. This vital support keeps our elderly neighbors in their own homes, where they want to be. MAC is incredibly grateful to Subaru and its retailers for supporting our organization and the seniors we serve.
